Detailed itinerary

Day 1 transfer to Murchison falls national park

Students have to meet at the departure point where they will meet their driver guide who will drive them to Murchison falls national park. They will pass via Nakasongola, the famous Luwero triangle, Masindi town with an en-route lunch since they will reach in the evening and then arrive at the park while viewing the baboons along the Budongo forest. Upon reaching the park students will be required to drive straight up to the top of the falls where they will get the opportunity to sight the magnificent waterfalls and the Nile water squeezing itself through the narrow gorge forming foam and a thunderous sound. After the awesome adventure drive to your booked student’s hostel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 game drive and the Nile boat cruise

Delight in a morning breakfast then head out for a morning game drive at the Nyamisiki plateau while exploring the park. You will spot different wildlife species during game drive and they include elephants, lions, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, giraffes, bush bucks, heart beasts Uganda kob among the rest. After that rewarding experience return to the students hostel for lunch and refreshments. In the afternoon head out for an afternoon boat cruise which takes you along the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls. You can catch glimpse of the various wildlife species during boat cruise like hippos wallowing, buffaloes, elephants showering and taking water, crocodiles plus the variety of birdlife like the egrets, pelican bee eater and the rare shoebill stork. Don’t hesitate to take some photos of the magnificent waterfalls for your life time memory. Return to the hostel for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3 nature walks and departure from Murchison falls

Wake up for a delicious breakfast, check out of the hostel and then head to Budongo forest headquarters for briefing. After briefing they will assign you with an armed ranger guide who will escort you into the forest for a nature walk. During this wonderful experience you will grab chance to spot different wildlife species including the nocturnal animals. After drive to Masindi town for lunch and then proceed to Kampala.
