Detailed itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After morning breakfast, meet and greet with your driver guide who will drive you through the Luwero triangle with an en-route lunch at Kabalega dinners. Continue with the journey through Masindi town up to the park driving straight to the top of Murchison falls national park where you grab a chance to watch the magnificent river Nile while forces its way through a narrow gorge. This gorge has rocks which give the falls a wonderful look. After a rewarding adventure return to your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Morning game drive and Nile boat cruise

Have morning breakfast and head out for a rewarding morning game drive through the Nyamisiki plateau where you can grab a chance to encounter a diversity of wonderful wildlife species plus the big four of the big five which such as elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards plus other wildlife like warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, antelopes, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kob among the rest. After that life time experience return to the lodge for lunch, refreshment and short nap. Later on proceed with an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls while enjoying the clear view of other animals like wallowing hippos, buffaloes, giraffes taking water plus many bird species like the egret, pelicans, herons, and the shoebill stork among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at your booked lodge.

Day 3

Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

After a morning breakfast, meet your guide for a drive to a ferry crossing point. On reaching the other side of the park transfer to Budongo forest headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while tracking the chimpanzees. Upon meeting the chimpanzees you are allowed only one hour enjoying them feeding their young ones, watching them play and learning their behaviors and taking photos which give your lifetime memory. Head to Budongo Eco lodge for lunch and a short nap. Later in the afternoon transfer to Ziwa rhino sanctuary a place where Rhinos are found in Uganda. Check in at the lodge have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4

Rhino trekking and departure

Have a delicious breakfast and then meet the ranger guide who takes you for the rhino tracking adventure which gives you chance to see the white rhinos which were brought here. After a rewarding experience return to the lodge for lunch and later depart for Kampala. The driver will drop you to your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe international airport to catch up with your flight back home.
